Crowning Glory could be my crowning writing effort. The story line is a fictional account of the real-life adventures of my Vanity Club sisters Gina Stone and Katie Hightower and the-late Cynthia Decker. Gina has performed as a female model in South Africa and Katie and Cynthia are and have worked as women in their fields.
The story developed earlier this year after I discovered my 'American Idol' Lavern Cummings was alive and well in retirement in Las Vegas, NV. When I was a teen, I was awestruck by the female impersonators at San Francisco's Finocchio's Club. I couldn't comprehend why men would dress as women. I first saw Lavern on a San Francisco television show and she became my idol. Little did I know where this would lead me!
I accidentally discovered, through a friend, an internet link to David deAlba, who performed with Lavern. I wrote David and he responded immediately. I found that he and Lavern had both retired in Las Vegas and now the three of us have become very good friends. I have also been fortunate to acquire some of Lavern's jewelry which she wore on stage during her 30-year career. Continue reading →

Because of that, not only does he have to maintain the illusion of being her sister but he also has to defend her against the problems she runs into. He even saves her life when she has a skiing accident on the slopes.
The story continues with our protagonist trapped in the guise of an attractive young woman wearing retro 60's fashion. Mrs. Gilmore's gay nephew, Billy, is still intimidating Harold into acting like his girlfriend in public and her special tea is having more transforming effects on Harold's body. Even more disturbing, Harold's mother seems to be starting to think of him as her daughter, putting him in increasingly feminine outfits and treating him like a girl. While he still feels coerced into the feminine role, deep down in his subconscious Harold is starting to enjoy the feelings his new clothing and growing breasts give him. When the doctor tells him that his body can't go back to masculine form and a new boy comes into his life, Harold comes to the conclusion that he is now feminized for life. Continue reading →

I sat down and she made up my eyes with grey eye shadow and black eyeliner followed by long black false eyelashes. After applying red rouge to my cheeks she filled in my lips with a generous amount of fire engine red lipstick. A shoulder length black wig was next. She pinned the lacey maid's cap at the top and then clipped six inch long earrings to each earlobe. A set of matching fire engine red press on nails was last. Continue reading →

The breeze stirred my skirt once more, a more intense and longer lasting gust than when I first emerged from the apartment lobby and out into the as Rochelle. My skirt was lifted above my knees but somehow my freehand was able to hold it down as the gust subsided. To my vexation a few men stared at the spectacle. It also appeared that I represented a threat to the girl accompanying one of these gawkers. They had been strolling arm in arm but as soon as she noticed my attempt to hold my skirt in place, she pulled the gentleman's arm tightly to her side and looked up at him. Glorying in my new role, I caught his eye and winked. Continue reading →

It can be said of adults, but few give credit to children: that it is all in knowing how to keep their mouths shut. Particularly realizing that their dreams might border on the fantastic, if not the impossible, until it was accomplished. Have you never heard anyone say that they never knew someone could do something, as if it was considered unreal by them? In turn, have you ever seen that someone’s face, as if inwardly smiling, If I’d told you before I did it, you wouldn’t be amazed or proud. You would’ve laughed. Well, that was me, only I never told a soul...until now. Continue reading →
