Just going through puberty as a teenager is difficult enough. When his Mom goes out of town, Marty is shipped off to stay at Peg’s house. Unknown to him, the two women have decided that Marty would make a better girl than boy. He is forced to wear girl clothes and is put on a regimen of female hormones. Soon, Marty is blossoming into Mary Ellen, a beautiful young woman who is the envy of all the other girls in he” new high school. Things become even stranger when two boys in particular take a shine to Mary Ellen. As Mary Ellen struggles with her new identity and feelings, she starts dating Alex. Doug, Alex’s rival, decides to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding the new girl. As Doug closes in on the answer, things take a dark turn.
