Mandy and Meta have fallen through the employment cracks and find themselves desperately poor. Then Mandy meets Serena, owner of a small manufacturing company – they strike up a conversation. Mandy is hired and goes to work the next day. Mandy is able to get Meta a job with the same company but, according to the criteria of the job, Meta is required to cross-dress. He rebels at first but his empty stomach and wallet win out. During their adventure they become efficient workers, force themselves to fit in with the bizarre desires of their employers and ‘play along’ in hopes of improving their lot in life. Stable boy Tom is an innocent lad of 15 working for a wealthy family of nobility. When Alice asks Tom to borrow one of Lady Lucy’s gowns for her to wear to a village dance, Tom is apprehensive but does as she asks because he is smitten with her. Unfortunately for the poor boy, the theft is discovered and much to Tom’s chagrin, Alice does not come to his deference, leaving Tom to take the punishment all by himself. His Lordship is persuaded that the best punishment is to force Tom to wear the beautiful outfit for one full day. One day becomes two. Then two days becomes an indefinite period. Far from being the humiliating experience he expects, though, Tom discovers that there are advantages to being treated by everyone as a beautiful young woman of nobility, much admired by all the local men. Like millions of other American men, Jack Johnson found it impossible to find a job in the recession. Julie, his wife, tries to be understanding about the situation until Jack turns to drinking and becomes physically abusive to her. Don, the owner of the restaurant Julie works for, notices Julie’s bruises and black eyes. After pressing her for an explanation, Don decides to take matters into his own hands by giving Jack a taste of his own medicine. Before long, Don, a huge bear of a man, has the much smaller Jack wearing women’s clothing and wearing makeup. The more Jack complains, the more pleasure Don takes in further feminizing the frightened man. Jack’s humiliation is complete when he finds out that Don plans on taking him to a doctor to have breast implants and other cosmetic surgery so that he can work in the restaurant as a pretty waitress.
